17�Թ���’s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems and Center For Wellbeing hosted its second annual Counter-Human Trafficking Conference, bringing together experts, advocates, and students to address the widespread issue of human trafficking.

The 37th Annual Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (NELMCC) at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� once again brought together hundreds of law students, legal scholars, and practicing attorneys for one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious interschool moot court competitions. This year, 48 schools from across the country participated, with Lewis & Clark Law School emerging as the 2025 NELMCC Champions.

17�Թ��� recently announced the launch of the Center for Global Health, an initiative focused on chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs) and other communicable and non-communicable diseases in urban environments through research, advocacy, and education.

On Monday, February 10, 2025, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� welcomed Professor Michael C. Dorf, Robert S. Stevens Professor of Law at Cornell Law School as the speaker for the 2025 Dyson Distinguished Lecture. His lecture was entitled: “Play in the Joints of the Religion Clauses and Law More Broadly.”

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� proudly co-hosted the New Directions in Environmental Law Conference (NDEL) held at Yale Law School in New Haven, CT on February 15, 2025. This year's conference analyzed changes and emerging issues in environmental law in a collaborative atmosphere. Organized by students from Haub Law, Yale Law School, Yale School of the Environment, and Vermont Law & Graduate School, the event featured insightful discussions on pressing environmental issues.

17�Թ��� Career Services on Friday hosted one of its signature events: the Spring 2024 Job and Internship Career Fair. With over 775 students in attendance—including many from 17�Թ���’s campus in Lower Manhattan—the fair connected students with more than 115 top employers from a wide range of industries.

17�Թ��� Art Gallery is pleased to present Flux: Barbara Friedman, Linda Herritt, and Will Pappenheimer, an exhibition showcasing the work of three distinguished contemporary artists and longtime faculty members in 17�Թ���’s Art Department as they prepare to retire at the end of the Spring 2025 semester. On view from February 7 to March 22, 2025, the exhibition will open with a free public reception on Friday, February 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
