After four theater showings, film to make online premiere on June 27. The 17�Թ���Docs Team focuses its film on the remarkable journey of oysters, their farmers, and their role in cleaning the water.

Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� Professors Bridget J. Crawford and Emily Gold Waldman announce the release of their book “,” published by NYU Press. The book explores the burgeoning menstrual advocacy movement and analyzes how law should evolve to take menstruation into account. It asks what the law currently says about menstruation and provides a roadmap for legal reform that can move society closer to a world where no one is held back or disadvantaged by menstruation.

17�Թ��� and the (BMCC/CUNY) have partnered to offer transfer opportunities for BMCC students. At a signing ceremony held June 8, President Krislov and , President of BMCC, announced the program, becoming available this Fall.

Professor Sonia Suchday, Ph.D., chair of the Psychology Department in the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at 17�Թ��� in New York City, has been appointed to 17�Թ���’s Board of Trustees.

During a special event at Cipriani 42^nd Street, 17�Թ��� recognized five outstanding community and business leaders, and alumni with The Spirit of 17�Թ��� Awards. Celebrating 17�Թ���’s role as a national leader in providing a college education with strong return on investment, the annual event brings the University community together to support student scholarships and special initiatives.

The 17�Թ��� Art Gallery in Lower Manhattan is pleased to present “Dallies,” a solo exhibition of paintings, photographs, and mixed media works by . The “Dallies” exhibit is on view concurrent with Kahn’s “,” an exhibition of seven monumental new Cor-Ten steel sculptures at City Hall Park, presented by the . Just across Park Row from each other, both exhibits opened with public previews on Tuesday, June. “Dallies” will be on view in the gallery through September 9, 2022.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� hosted a Health Law and Policy Summit bringing together healthcare professionals and lawyers to discuss key legal issues for operations and transactions and for the delivery of healthcare in today’s changing landscape. Co-sponsored by 17�Թ���’s College of Health Professions and the Westchester County Association, the event offered NYS Attorney CLE credit and included two thoughtful panel discussions led by Haub Law faculty who teach in the Law School’s Advanced Certificate in Health Law and Policy.

At the University’s first in-person graduation ceremony in three years, U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng delivered the commencement address to the graduates from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ���, and also received an honorary doctorate. This year marked the first year that 17�Թ��� held a combined ceremony for graduates of its campuses in New York City, Pleasantville, and White Plains. Delivering the commencement address for 17�Թ��� was Mayor Eric Adams, who also received an honorary doctorate. Finance and philanthropy leader, Baroness Ariane de Rothschild, a 17�Թ��� alum, was also recognized.

17�Թ���’s documentary film team – 17�Թ���Docs – last night premiered at the .

More than 200 people turned out for the event, which was the first in-person premiere for the program since 2019, before the pandemic. The film continues a distinguished tradition of producing documentaries that shine a light on important environmental issues.
