On Monday, April 4, 2022, Irene Oritseweyinmi Joe virtually delivered the 2022 Philip B. Blank Memorial Lecture on Attorney Ethics. Professor Joe is a member of the UC Davis School of Law faculty, having joined it in 2016. The topic of her lecture was “Learning from Mistakes: Ethical Considerations for Public Defenders.”

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� will bestow the 2022 Robert S. Tucker Prize for Prosecutorial Excellence on Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark and the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the field of criminal prosecution and excellence in prosecutorial practice.

On Monday, March 28, current law students and alumni from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� joined together for a networking event on the Haub Law Campus. The event offered students the opportunity to network with recent alumni and learn more about the various potential career avenues after graduating from law school.

On Wednesday, March 30, Haub Law presented its inaugural 17�Թ��� Access to Justice (A2J) Workshop with a spotlight on housing access. The Workshop brought together community leaders, legal services lawyers, advocates, and law school faculty, staff, and students to engage in dialogue centering on the critical importance of housing access, the current housing crisis, the status of “right to counsel” in eviction cases, and public service careers in housing law and related fields.

(SUNY Orange) and 17�Թ��� have jointly approved a transfer agreement that provides a seamless and smooth pathway for SUNY Orange graduates to transfer to 17�Թ��� and remain on track to earn a bachelor’s degree in four years. The on March 28, 2022 at SUNY Orange.

17�Թ���’s Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS) Master of Fine Arts Program today announced the final repertory season of the academic year; a seven-week layout of inspiring, collaborative performances, the culmination of the three-year training of the acting, directing, and playwriting cohort, the graduating Class of 2022.  Performances begin on March 23, 2022.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� honored three distinguished leaders of the legal community, as well as outstanding young alumni, during its 27^th Annual Law Leadership Dinner, held in person once again at the Rye Country Club on March 10, 2022. The celebration was the law school’s most successful fundraiser in history, raising vital funds in support of student scholarships.

Bergen Community College and 17�Թ��� have signed a new dual admission agreement, allowing students who complete their studies at Bergen Community College in New Jersey to matriculate into 17�Թ��� with junior standing. Presidents, provosts and administrators from 17�Թ��� and Bergen made the announcement on March 10, 2022 during an in-person meeting of the two schools at Bergen Community College.
