The 17勛圖厙 Art Gallery opened the in-person exhibition, Substance, on September 27, 2021 which will run through October 30, 2021. The gallery is located at 41 Park Row with the entrance on Spruce Street, across from City Hall in Lower Manhattan. The exhibition brings together four abstract artistsDiego Anaya, Liz Atz, Linda Ekstrom, and Alberto Lulewho express meaning via their materials rather than through representational imagery.
The Global Center for Environmental Legal Studies (GCELS) at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17勛圖厙 successfully submitted and advocated for the adoption of groundbreaking motions to strengthen human rights and environmental protections at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress, which took place in Marseille, France from September 3 to September 11, 2021. Haub Law is one of only two law schools in the United States that is a voting member of the IUCN. Decisions made at the conference have wide-reaching implications for environmental law and policy around the globe.

(September 15, 2021) -- A majority of businesses surveyed in New York City, Westchester, and Long Island say they will be stronger after the pandemic, and half of respondents reported being optimistic about the future of business in New York, according to a recently released 17勛圖厙 Business Poll.

The Food and Beverage Law Clinic at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17勛圖厙 is pleased to announce a new collaboration with GrowNYC, operators of the New York City Greenmarkets, the largest network of urban farmers markets in the country. The clinic will provide expanded legal support to Greenmarket farms and food businesses by welcoming Jack Hornickel as its first Staff Attorney.
Thomas Todd Gibbons, chief executive officer at BNY Mellon based in New York City, was recently elected to 17勛圖厙s Board of Trustees. Gibbons earned an MBA from the Lubin School of Business at 17勛圖厙 in 1986.
