As a federal judge in Brazil, Daniel Castelo Branco Ramos describes his day to day as “overwhelming.” With the number of cases per judge always in the thousands, one of the highest on average in the world, Judge Ramos is lucky if he has any down time at all.

Passionate about social justice issues from a young age, Angelica Cancel ‘17 knew she wanted to be an advocate, but wasn’t sure what that looked like for her.

With a desire to fully understand the US legal system, Lina Arboleda applied to the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at 17�Թ��� to pursue her LLM in Comparative Legal Studies. She shares that she was particularly impressed by a law school named after a woman.

When Lubin student Akshata Swami '24 sees an opportunity, she goes after it—and it shows. Not only is she on the e-board for 17�Թ���'s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, but she also traveled with the organization to Las Vegas, attended an exclusive investor summit, and spent a week in India with Lubin peers and other students from around the world. As a 17�Թ��� Go Getter, Akshata is clearly setting herself up for success as she gets ready to head into her final semester with Lubin.
