Lubin student Samantha Nieves '24 is going above and beyond at her summer internship with Cisco. Not only does she welcome feedback from her managers, but she's also not afraid to ask questions, learn new things, and take on challenges...And she isn't just a leader at Cisco. This fall, Samantha will serve as Chief Executive Officer of 17勛圖厙's on-campus chapter of the American Marketing Association. Equipped with her experience from Cisco, Samantha is ready to take AMA to the next level.
MPA graduate sthildur Sturludottir has been serving as the mayor of Akureyri, Iceland since 2018, where she champions sustainability and renewable energy. Committed to creating a brighter future, she believes that communities, both large and small, should embrace sustainability and leave a positive impact on the environment.
Shruti Dhapodkar '23 is conquering more than just her MBA in Marketing Analytics at the Lubin School of Business. As a graduate assistant within Lubin's Office of Communications and External Relations, Shruti helped coordinate campus events, edited newsletters, and assisted in social media strategyand it's that real-world experience that helped her score her summer internship with NJ Transit and that led to her internship offer being extended into her final semester at Lubin.
Arts and Entertainment Management student Angelina Johnson '24 is pursuing her dreams. During her freshman year, she set her eyes on Nike Communications, a female-founded communications firm that markets luxury brands. As a rising senior, Angelina is now working with Nike Communications as a Luxury PR Internlearning the ropes of the industry, networking with fellow interns and company leaders, and connecting public figures with prestigious brands.
From a young age, Basil Seggos 01 was always interested in the outdoors and with nature itself. As he went through high school, and college, he gained a greater appreciation of the amount of injustice in the world and was motivated to be a part of the effort to try to help resolve some of these issues, specifically environmental issues being faced by people and by the planet. Law school proved to be the perfect fit for him, and he was able to merge his passion for the environment with his sense of and desire for justice.
