One 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Plaza East
Starting in Fall 2023, we will completely reconstruct the lower floors of One 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Plaza East and the residential floors of Maria's Tower, creating an inviting and modern building with classroom and creative arts spaces, collaboration spaces, and a Performing Arts Center that will include a proscenium theater. The renovation will provide the up-to-date instructional, creative, and performance spaces we need, and it keeps our large gathering space—used by the entire University and the broader community—at the center of our campus.

Now open, this new 26-story mixed use building will feature a brand-new residence hall with suite-style housing, a new dining facility, a state of-the-art library and learning center, modernized classrooms, and new academic and common spaces.
17³Ô¹ÏÍø is an Active Leader in Sustainability
As an innovative private institution of higher education, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø has a strong record of implementation of best practices in sustainability and conservation. 15 Beekman and One 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Plaza East are being built to the highest environmental and efficiency standards and in compliance with all codes including forthcoming obligations under the revised New York City Energy Conservation Code.
