Harry D. Mayo III '61 '78 Distinguished Service Award

Harry’s commitment to 17³Ô¹ÏÍø is an inspiration. This award was created to recognize alumni who distinguish themselves in service of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø’s mission, Opportunitas. It carries Harry’s name to honor his legacy of volunteer service and philanthropy that he championed throughout his life.

Award Criteria

Awarded annually to an alumni whose consistent volunteer service has aided in advancing the success of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø’s mission of Opportunitas and the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Alumni Association, and has supported meaningful opportunities for their fellow alumni.

Emerging Alumni Leader Award

This annual award honors a dedicated alum who has reignited their connection to 17³Ô¹ÏÍø and is making a strong impact. It celebrates individuals who are not new to the alumni community but have recently taken bold steps to support the University’s mission of Opportunitas through leadership, service, and engagement with the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Alumni Association.
