In a year unlike any other, the transformative power of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø has the ability to uplift and hearten. Here are just a few of our most inspiring 17³Ô¹ÏÍø moments.

What is a hackathon? It’s a timed, team-based problem-solving day of strategy and execution where tech is used to save the day.

If rapid advances in technology and healthcare and massive changes in climate and community life were not already fundamentally altering how we live and work prior to this past year, the COVID-19 pandemic has certainly kicked these shifts into high gear.

Three leaders with diverse backgrounds and a broad range of expertise in healthcare, technology, and business operations have joined 17³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Board of Trustees.

Professor Claudia Green, director of 17³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Hospitality and Tourism Management program, was faced with a challenge as she prepared to teach her civic engagement and public values course remotely: How would the class build a community project when the students were located around the world?

In March, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø named S. Brian Jones, an award-winning and well-respected artist, writer, and arts educator, as its new assistant dean for diversity and equity in the arts.

Though disrupted by the global pandemic, the students of 17³Ô¹ÏÍøDocs got to explore the future of filmmaking through their most recent documentary, Bee Aware.

The School of Education has combined forces with 17³Ô¹ÏÍø's OASIS program to get students on the Autism spectrum career-ready by using virtual reality avatars to simulate a job interview scenario.

The leaders of tomorrow are right here at 17³Ô¹ÏÍøâ€”something that the business and technology today have duly recognized.

After nearly two years of research; evaluation; drafting; and input from 17³Ô¹ÏÍø students, faculty, staff, and alumni, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø has unveiled a new brand, and with it, a new expression of what it means to be part of the 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Community.

As part of 17³Ô¹ÏÍø's new Alumni Association, Graduates of the Last Decade, or GOLD, is a network exclusively designed for recent graduates to get connected to one another and to take advantage of the many opportunities our robust alumni network has to offer.

In a year when stage lights across the world went dark, 17³Ô¹ÏÍø's School of Performing Arts found creative ways to keep the show going.
